I got the revere, and I’ll admit. It’s amazing and I really enjoy the look and window view of the fire. It does get hot. But not as hot as I’d thought it would.and I also don’t get as much burn time. Granted I’m sure that’s a fuel thing. Super easy to start. Easy to shut down. Assembly instructions are okay. But make more sense if you watch their YouTube video. It seems sturdy, seems like it’s made out of quality material.

Now.. the reason it’s 4 stars. My patina came out like crap. This is my fault. The company mentioned to clean it. But I wish they would have exaggerated just how important this step is. I used the little wipe they provided. And it just didn’t get the job done. And tiny towel to dry it didn’t pick up the extra material.

If I were to do it all over again I’d really take a significant amount of time and effort cleaning the entire unit with soap and water before the first burn.

My OCD is driving me nuts!

Again- my fault. But a warning to all of you. For the company. Please exaggerate how important this step is in order to achieve a perfect patina.

Other wise. Pricey. Yes. But it’s an amazing patio heater.

Probably the best costumer service I’ve had in a long long time! Had some glass clips go bad after a couple of seasons and after a quick email asking if there was a better way to repair it. They simply replied with “we use stainless steel now shall I send some to u”. That’s the way to handle your customers! Thank you.

After reading up on the Timber Heaters I was so pumped to get one for my back patio. Packaging and setup was a breeze, however the heater never got up to the temps that I expected or read about. It looks great when it’s fired up, but even in moderately cold weather you have to be within 2-3 feet to be able to feel the heat. We find ourselves fighting for the spot sitting right next to the heater or huddled up right next to it. Disappointed in the heat but it looks great.

I do want to mention that the customer service is second to none. I called about these issues and they immediately sent me a bag of pellets to try out. They even jumped on a facetime call with me to see if there was something I was missing. Finally, even went out of their way to send an upgraded component to see if that would help. Based on reviews and the company’s willingness to help me troubleshoot, I think I may have received the rare defective unit. Anyways, great service but the effectiveness of the product didn’t hit the mark for me.

SAFE FLAME

The Stainless Steel Patina

Heating the steel initiates a chemical reaction between iron and oxygen that creates a thin oxide layer on the metal. From the very first burn, this stove will begin to change colors. Gold, Purple, Blue, and Green will continue develop on the firebox and pipe the more the heater is used.

About Our Patio Heater

Thermal comparison of a Big Timber Patio heater versus a propane outdoor heater
This is an American Made wood pellet patio heater that will keep you warm from head to toe. The Revere is designed not only to produce radiant heat, but to provide a beautiful fire for family and friends to watch. Requiring no electricity, this heater’s flame is powered only by gravity and the draft created from the stove pipe. Using wood pellets as a low carbon alternative fuel just makes sense when compared to the high price and inefficiency of propane. Pellets run at a quarter of the operating cost, while producing twice the amount of BTU’s.
